An exuberant pub to its core, with two bars, one inside one outside, The Anchor also boasts two handsome private dining rooms, both beautifully appointed and very well attended to, often overspilling on busier days as an extension of the main restaurant.
The Anchor is as many-sided and nuanced as its customers, primarily for those who wish to escape, seeking refuge and solace from the outside world in this fine little bolthole by the water. Serving local ales and craft beers never forgetting its roots of the local community just as much as welcoming the annual tourist.
