The Anchor Inn Exclusive Preview 7pm 4th May
The Anchor Inn is reopening its doors on Saturday 5th May after an exciting refurbishment programme to transform it into a friendly, welcoming and stylish village inn.
Come along to the exclusive preview on Friday 4th May and be among the first to see its great new look. Meet the new team and learn all about our exciting plans and get a sneak peak at our new menus designed by our new kitchen team who trained under Marco Pierre White.
We’re opening The Anchor Inn from 7pm on Friday 4th May so you can join us for a drink on the house and sample some delicious canapés from our new kitchen team. You will also receive a 20% discount voucher to use on your next visit to The Anchor.
New owners on-board…
The Anchor Inn is delighted to announce that it has new owners on-board. Exclusive Inns, a dynamic new pub chain, has great plans for the future of The Anchor Inn and intends to bring it back into the hearts and minds of the local community.
The Anchor Inn is the second acquisition in the local area. In June 2011, Exclusive Inns took on The Angel Inn, Stoke by Nayland, investing in a sensitive refurbishment programme to retain the tradition of this 16th century oak beamed coaching inn. Exclusive Inns aim to create welcoming pub restaurants where visitors can enjoy the very best in food and drink.
A new look Anchor…
The Anchor Inn will be getting a makeover very soon and Exclusive Inns has some exciting plans for its new look. The refurbishment programme will begin after Easter and will be complete by the 7th May. For a sneak peak at the new designs check out our Facebook and Twitter pages or keep an eye out for our mood boards which will be displayed outside of The Anchor during its refurbishment.

The Anchor Inn is delighted to announce that as well as a fresh new look, it also has new ship mates on-board in the form of ambitious chef duo Jamie Robinson and Adam Pickard.
Fresh from the kitchens of Marco Pierre White’s Lavenham venture, The Angel, Jamie and Adam are passionate about creating an exciting menu focusing on fresh seasonal ingredients that will put The Anchor firmly back on the food map.
